1ST DAY: RIO DE JANEIRO
Arrival in Rio de Janeiro. Transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Overnight.
2ND DAY: RIO DE JANEIRO
Breakfast. In half day city tour we first ride to the top of Corcovado Mountain by train where we have a great panoramic view of the city. Later we continue to Tijuca forest, which is the biggest urban forest in South America. Drive by Barra da Tijuca and the southern Rio beaches. Return to the hotel. Rest of the day is free. Overnight.
3RD DAY: RIO DE JANEIRO
Breakfast. Possibility to make some optional tours. Overnight.
4TH DAY: RIO DE JANEIRO / MANAUS
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Arrival in Manaus. Transfer to the hotel. Possibility to make some optional excursions (like opera theatre or Museum of Indians and Amazon). Overnight.
5th DAY: MANAUS
Breakfast. The tour of the meeting of the waters. We are going to take a motor boat cruise in the Negro
River, passing by small ports viewing typical native houses and floating docks in Manaus
Port, continuing to the meeting of the waters, where the Negro River meets the Solimões
River, forming the Amazon. Lunch. In afternoon canoe tour by the “floresta”. Overnight.
6th DAY: MANAUS
Breakfast. Possibility to make some optional tours. Overnight.
7th DAY : MANAUS / Foz do IGUAÇU
Breakfast. Transfer to airport. Arrival in Foz do Iguaçu. Transfer to the hotel. In the Brazilian side, half day Iguaçu Falls tour. The Iguaçu Falls were discovered by Alvar Nuñez Cabeza de Vaca. They form one of the most spectacular natural show in the world. They encounter in a National Park of 300.000 hectars between the Brazilian and Argentinian borders. Besides that, in that area we have Itaipu, one of the biggest dams in the world. Overnight.
8th DAY: Foz do IGUAÇU
Free day in bed and breakfast. Possibility to make some optional tour like the visit of the Argentinean side of the falls. Overnight.
9th DAY: Foz do IGUAÇU
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. |
